I'm writing on rhetorical Christology in the Gospel of Mark in a performative context.

Currently serving as Temporary Pastor in a congregation situated in an arts-rich community.  Interested in performance criticism as a tool to engage the broader community.W

Interested in the application of insights from performance criticism to Bible translation and vice versa.

I currently am finishing a Doctorate at Robert Webber University, and have started a creative Project called Garden City, which helps artists collaborate and think through the creative and innovative expressions of God's church as it relates to our worship and mission.  We want to think through these issues theologicaliy and create together.

Part of this project is what's called The Doxology Project which houses a blog looking at these issues, and Performance Criticism is something we'd really like to include.

I am keenly interested in the mixed media culture of early Christianity and the ways in which the NT traditions were "performed" in both oral contexts and in writing.
